Job description for Implementation Lead at Arrow
- Implement Arrow checkout installation on Arrow merchants’ sites, which include sites built using WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and more
- Ensure installation works in compatibly with merchant’s set up, from UI/UX such as checkout button placement and ‘look and feel’, to backend logic (e.g. passing over custom attributes, ensuring fetching of important checkout details such as shipping options are not interfered by 3rd party plugins)
- Work closely with the sales team in gathering merchant requirements, esp. for key accounts where bespoke support is rendered to ensure successful merchant onboarding
- Raise compatibility issues, and work closely with product managers in recording, triaging and synthesizing issues, so that features relevant to recurring/key issues can be scoped and built
- Field merchant-related questions/bugs raised from sales/QA teams - act as the frontliner in addressing merchant issues, working closely with QA and product managers in debugging them
- Play an active role in shaping the optimal operational process regarding merchant onboarding and installation
- Play an active role in working with product managers to productise merchant services, so that over time, more installation and site testing responsibilities can be effectively self-served by merchants themselves
- You are customer obsessed - you appreciate the importance of understanding merchant’s needs and requirements for their ecommerce business, from pre-checkout, during checkout, to post-checkout, and therefore have a perspective on how Arrow Checkout should function compatibly to assist merchants in better achieving their ecommerce goals
- You are comfortable with conversing with sales team and potentially having direct communications with merchants to gather requirements
- You are technically savvy regarding web development - JS, HTML, CSS are basic requirements
- You are comfortable with SaaS tools - have either been a user of such tools, or have been involved in the building of them
- You possess great synthesising skills - you spot similarities in issues across various merchants, recognise similarities in terms of merchant needs, understand the ‘why’ behind these observations, and ultimately able to suggest solutions to be productised so as to solve these issues scalably
