Job description for Growth Marketer - Mid-Level (L2) at CoinGecko

What you'll be doing:
• Increase Digital Presence: You’ll assist in designing and executing all aspects of CoinGecko's digital presence on social media, core product, community outreach, and emails.
• Social Media Management: You’ll manage our social media accounts and act as the point person to vibe with, add value, moderate, and grow our social following on all social channels.
• Community Outreach: You’ll participate and be involved in the cryptocurrency and media communities. Most importantly, you’ll need to add value and build constructive relationships.
• Campaign Management: You’ll work on our various campaigns and product launches and ensure that we maximize the reach of everything we do. Some of the work you’ll be involved in includes but not limited to copywriting, community outreach, managing socials and more.
• Performance Reporting: Provide regular (weekly & monthly) feedback of how CoinGecko’s presence is growing, and communicate learnings & next steps within the team & business.
• Plugged-in: Stay up-to-date with the latest cryptocurrency and marketing trends and propose new and improved marketing campaign ideas.
• Market Research: Conduct customer, competitor and product research.
• Team Player: Work closely with team members to achieve digital marketing targets.
• Manage external teams: We want you to scale the impact of your work above and to achieve this, you’ll manage and work with external contractors and/or agencies in an effective, well-coordinated and seamless manner.
What we look for in you:
• 1+ years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, social media, public relations, content marketing, and/or community management.
• Team player: Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams to make things happen.
• Entrepreneurial: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You’re also curious & creative on finding ways to improve existing campaigns & workflows.
• Analytical & data-driven: You should be curious about and tell stories using data.
• Strong opinions, loosely held: Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities.
• Basic design experience using Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets are a huge plus.
• Integrity & trustworthiness.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
