About the Role
As a general accountant, you will be able to perform all the necessary tasks related to financial accounting, responsible for making sure the right bookkeeping for all issues according to Accounting Standards, Tax law, and Company Regulation. You will work closely with an international team of 9 different nationalities in Vietnam and other countries across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Track and check the vouchers/ payment records and bookkeeping
- In charge of billing, partner with Sales admin to track and issue invoices, ensuring that sales and invoices are accurate and complete every month before the reporting period.
- Tracking AR, coordinate with BD team to collect money, and support onboarding new clients processes.
- Prepare and check accounting reports, reconcile detailed and general figures before the reporting period
- Knowledgeable about the relevant tax regulations/ Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports/ support to the AM all related tax issues in Vietnam & other relative Countries.
- Support the purchasing and other departments about checking the payment records, make sure the right schedule, full documents according to the process/regulations on payment of the company and Vietnam Tax Law
- Keep track of bank accounts, perform transactions and bank records at domestic and abroad.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 2 years working for multinational businesses
- Knowledge of basic software and operating systems and related aspects
- Ability to work and think independently. Then confidence to share and persuade management on the validity of the analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
- Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining excellent standards of outputs.
- Good in Specialized English/ communication
