Job description for Finance Planning and Analysis at MFast

1. Strategic planning and budgeting
· Charged with planning, i.e. it produces the budget and periodic forecasting to aid senior management in decision-making.
· Develop the operating and financial plans required to achieve management’s strategic plan.
· Develop a largely static annual budget that updates once each year
· Perform financial budgeting and operational metric tracking
2. Business modeling
· Understand and develop business model support for fundraising.
· Monitor and track the variance.
3. Financial analysis
· Conduct variance analysis to show management how the budget and/or rolling forecast compares against actual performance.
· Analyze past results, performance variance analysis, identify trends, explain key drivers of these trends and make recommendations for improvements;
· Uses the data to advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment
· Analysis of historical financials and Variance explanations
· Monitor and evaluate all sales schemes/ promotional programs.
4. Forecasting and scenarios
· Support the Company’s Treasurer to build and update the weekly/ monthly cash flows.
· Create and develop forecasting tools using excel and Power BI;
5. Financing negotiation
6. Prepare monthly report for Business: Management report, Profitability by customer, by channel, by model…
