ECE Homeroom Teacher (Kindergarten / PAUD)

Job Summary
Global Prestasi School is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and passionate Female Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant Early Childhood Education (ECE) department. As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where young children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our youngest learners through their foundational years, utilizing modern early childhood methodologies to spark curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Management & Leadership: Act as the primary caregiver and educator for the assigned homeroom class, managing daily routines, transitions, and classroom behavior with care and positivity.
- Curriculum Development & Lesson Planning: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to various learning styles, integrating play-based and inquiry-based learning.
- Student Assessment: Observe, assess, and document each child’s development, growth, and behavioral milestones. Maintain accurate student portfolios.
- Parent Communication: Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with parents through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and daily communication regarding their child's progress.
- Safety & Well-being: Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic classroom environment that complies with the school’s health and safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with co-teachers, parallel teachers, and the ECE coordinator to align teaching strategies and contribute to school events/extracurricular activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Gender: Female (as per classroom care and operational requirements).
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Early Childhood Teacher Education (PGPAUD), Psychology, or a related field.
- A specialized certification or background in Montessori education is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience teaching in a similar preschool, kindergarten, or PAUD environment.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English, as it is the primary medium of instruction.

- Deep understanding of early childhood development milestones and modern teaching methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Patient, creative, energetic, and genuinely loves working with young children.
- Tech-literate (capable of using basic educational tech tools and MS Office).
