Job description for DESIGN DEVELOPMENT INTERN at District Eight
Responsibilities
• Develop accurate 3D CAD models using Fusion 360.
• Revise existing models based on design reviews, technical feedback and project requirements.
• Prepare renders, presentation materials and supporting product documentation.
• Assist in OEM, ODM and Hospitality product development projects.
• Organize CAD files and maintain clear revision history.
• Prepare development packages for Technical & R&D.
• Support product research and technical documentation where required.
• Visit the Long An factory when required to support product development activities and gain practical manufacturing knowledge.
• Assist with other Product Development tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
• Final year student or recent graduate in Industrial Design, Furniture Design or Product Design.
• Strong attention to detail with an organized and systematic working approach.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Self-disciplined with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Previous exposure to furniture manufacturing or product development is an advantage.
