Job description for Data Engineer at Cad-it Iot Centre

Job Description:

Perform data cleaning and ingestion
Map data from various data sources
Develop ERD and database systems
Integrate data from various systems including logic development
Develop and deploy data pipelines to solve clients’ problem statements

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Informatics/Mathematics/Physics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Strong Relational Database knowledge in SQL Server, IBM Db2, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
Experienced in Non-Relational Database (Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J, Redis, or Cosmos DB) is a plus
Strong knowledge in one or more programming languages such as python, C, C#, Java, Scala, R, or JavaScript
Experienced in Big Data Tools (Spark, Hive, or Hadoop) and Kafka is a plus
Experienced in Cloud Technology is a plus
Knowledge of data transmission protocol (such as HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, or etc) is a plus
Experienced with Git is a plus
Experienced with Redis is a plus
Willing to learn new technologies
Interested in Industry 4.0
Strong technical documentation
Strong verbal and written English are preferred
