Job description for Chinese English Translator at Công ty TNHH Diksha Technologies
We are looking for an English–Chinese Translator to work directly with clients in English and translate content in both directions between English and Simplified Chinese. The role needs strong written Chinese and translation accuracy for content in the casino and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
● Work and communicate directly with clients in English.
● Translate written content accurately in both directions: English to Simplified Chinese and Simplified Chinese to English.
● Keep the meaning, tone and terminology consistent with the casino and entertainment context.
● Translate and localize content for software applications, websites and mobile apps.
● Review and proofread translations so they are accurate, consistent and of high quality.
Minimum Skills & Certifications
● Advanced written proficiency in both Simplified Chinese and English.
● HSK Level 5 or equivalent Chinese proficiency (for non-native Chinese speakers).
● IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL iBT equivalent, or equivalent English proficiency (for non-native English speakers).
● Ability to translate accurately in both directions: Simplified Chinese to English
and English to Simplified Chinese.
● Must pass a bilingual translation assessment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
● CATTI Level 2 or Level 3 (Translation)
● NAATI Certified Translator (Chinese–English, in the relevant translation direction).
● ATA Certified Translator (English–Chinese or Chinese–English, in the relevant direction).
● Experience translating software applications, websites and mobile app content.
● Familiarity with localization tools, translation memory and terminology management.
● Experience with UI/UX, technical documentation and software terminology
