Job description for Category Junior Manager (Fruit & Vegetables) at MM Mega Market Vietnam
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Regularly make the category research and analysis to develop the in-charge assortment. Propose the listing/delisting items or suppliers to ensure the KPIs of the categories together with Senior Category Manager.
· Continuously review the product category mix to ensure that customers’ needs are fully satisfied at all times.
· Handle suppliers on Trading Terms, Marketing activation and Trading Income.
· Build promotional plan within the categories and communicate well with internal, external suppliers to ensure the attractiveness and yearly KPIs growth.
· Negotiate with suppliers to ensure effectiveness of the Merchandise roles in term of contract, assortment, pricing, promotion, distribution, …
· Monitoring of the product category performance in terms of pricing, promotion, products assortment, quality of products, planning and allocation. Run the necessary reports as and when required.
· Co-ordinate all the departments relating to stock & product’s exposure.
· Other tasks that may be assigned by Senior Merchandise Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
· University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management or related subjects
· Experiences within the FMCG sector or relevant category with prior experience in supervising a small buying team
· Fluency in Vietnamese and English languages (both written and oral)
· Customer-focused
· Good communication with ability to work independently and under pressure
· Strong analytical ability and good in data/ figures
· Abilities to use computer, office programs and database
