Job description for Business Development Representative at Accelerasia

About The Role
This position focuses on feeding the top of the sales funnel and you will play a key role in finding potential new clients for AccelerAsia. You will be tasked with researching and prospecting technology scale up companies based in Europe, the US and Israel, as well as qualifying them before passing them on to the Directors. This involves researching companies, ensuring they fit our Ideal Customer Profile, identifying the key decision makers and booking meetings through outbound activities (e.g., cold calling and Linkedin prospecting)
Key Duties
  • Keen interest in technology companies and emerging digital and SaaS platforms
  • Ensure robust knowledge of AccelerAsia’s offering and value proposition
  • Outbound prospecting, cold calling to hunt for new prospects for AccelerAsia and meeting daily minimum targets
  • Qualify inbound leads from regular marketing campaigns and follow up with leads who have attended events in order to book meetings
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospects
  • Identify, research and qualify new potential leads using a structured sales methodology
  • Work closely with the Directors to support in developing and implementing appropriate prospecting strategies and plans
  • Maintain high level of CRM hygiene by ensuring all customer interactions from LinkedIn messages, calls and emails are updated and recorded in our CRM
Key Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent management of the top of sales funnel
  • Solid commercial acumen; the ability to spot opportunities in the territory
  • A proactive, service-oriented attitude towards AccelerAsia’s prospects
  • Self-starter and autonomous
  • Ideally 1 to 2 years experience in Sales Development
