Job description for Business Analyst Intern – Product Track (ERP & Integration) at Kegmil

What this achieves for you

  • Attract analytical minds (not admin interns): By using the "Product Track" title and "Logic Guardian" concept, we repel applicants looking for data entry/admin work and attract those who love system thinking.
  • Clearly position as PO-track training: It transforms a standard internship into a high-value career pathway, increasing Kegmil’s employer branding among top-tier students.
  • Support your POs structurally: Each Intern is designed to be a "second brain," freeing POs from micro-logic details so they can focus on module strategy.
  • Filter for the exact thinking style you want: The "What kind of brain" section acts as a natural filter for the specific cognitive traits required at Kegmil.

1. About Kegmil Kegmil is a cloud-based, mobile-first SaaS platform helping field service teams manage maintenance operations for mission-critical assets across Southeast Asia. We empower deskless technicians with technology and data to improve operational efficiency and service quality across industries from elevators to data centers.

2. Why this role exists At Kegmil, Product Owners manage highly complex SaaS modules serving enterprise clients. To maintain system clarity, quality, and structured documentation, each Product Owner is supported by a dedicated Business Analyst Intern who acts as the logic guardian of that module. This role is designed to train future Product Owners through real product ownership experience.

3. What you will do

You will work directly with a Product Owner and:

  • Analyze business cases and convert them into clear user flows and system logic.
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain documentation.
  • Design test cases and perform functional/UAT testing before releases.
  • Validate whether the system behavior matches the intended logic.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release validation.
  • Monitor production behavior and help analyze issues from a business perspective.
  • Act as the “second brain” of the PO for this module.

4. Module Focus – ERP Integration, APIs, Parts, Inventory

You will work on:

  • Integration flows between Kegmil and ERP systems
  • API documentation and data mapping
  • Inventory and parts management logic
  • UAT for integration scenarios

Best fit for candidates who like: how systems talk to each other, APIs, data mapping.

5. What kind of brain we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves analyzing how systems work.
  • Enjoys drawing flows and understanding logic.
  • Is very detail-oriented and structured.
  • Likes to question “why” things work that way.
  • Wants to grow into a Product Owner or System Analyst role.

6. Requirements

Must have: Final-year student (with max 1-2 subjects left) or fresh graduate in IT, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related. Strong logical thinking. Comfortable with diagrams and structured documentation. Good English reading ability.

Nice to have: Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Basic SQL / Excel. Interest in SaaS systems.

7. Learning & Growth This internship is a direct pathway to a full-time Product/BA role at Kegmil.

Note: We are also looking for BA Interns for other tracks (Reports & Analytics, Core System Logic, Mobile App & HR Logic). Check out our career page for more details!
