Job description for Business Analyst - AI & Internal Solutions at Pati Group
- PATI is hiring a Business Analyst - AI & Internal Solutions to turn operational problems into internal products that teams can use independently.
- This is a product-facing Business Analyst role. You will not only document requirements or wait for completed tickets. You will work inside Marketing, Creative, Store, Operations and Finance workflows to identify bottlenecks, define what needs to be built, work with engineers and AI builders, launch usable products and improve them against business results.
- You will take on assigned products as your capacity grows. You are not expected to ship every product on day one; prioritization follows 80/20.
About PATI
PATI is a global DTC e-commerce company serving the US/EU markets. We are a lean team based in Ho Chi Minh City, restructuring into an AI Native, Agent-first company.
AI is part of our operating infrastructure. We use it to reduce repetitive work while people remain responsible for understanding problems, checking results and making decisions.
How we work
- Lifelong learning: You keep developing your skills through professional courses, documentation, books, YouTube, X and other learning channels.
- AI First: You use AI to improve speed and quality, understand what it produces and redo work that misses the standard. Passing along answers you cannot explain does not meet that standard.
- High performance: You finish work, keep commitments and measure your output. Decisions and compensation reviews are based on results and data, not hours at a desk.
Responsibilities
40% — Business analysis and product ownership across PATI OS
- Each assigned product must have a clear problem, roadmap, Definition of Done and real users who can operate it without you.
- Work with department leaders and users to understand the actual business problem.
- Map current workflows, identify bottlenecks and clarify business goals.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements.
- Define users, jobs-to-be-done, business rules, acceptance criteria and failure modes.
- Own product briefs and contribute to roadmaps across assigned PATI OS products.
- Decide what to build, buy or stop based on user needs, business impact and available capacity.
- Remove features that do not improve revenue, creative throughput or cost.
- Work with engineers and AI builders to clarify requirements and resolve implementation questions.
- Ship in small increments, demonstrate products to users, measure adoption and improve the next version from feedback.
25% — AI workflow and system analysis
- Build repeatable workflows that non-technical staff can adopt. Handover is part of Done.
- Map business workflows that can be improved through AI or automation.
- Define prompts, system instructions, agent roles, MCP/CLI hooks and context/memory structures.
- Translate business requirements into AI workflow requirements that builders can execute.
- Use structured judgments and agent loops where they outperform manual chat-and-paste workflows.
- Track usage, failure rates and time saved.
- Establish quality gates before outputs reach ads, creators or internal digests.
- Partner with the CTO and builders on implementation. Own the business and product outcome, not only the documentation.
20% — Discovery, prioritization and P&L alignment
- Every build must connect to revenue, creative capacity or measurable cost.
- Conduct discovery with Managers, department leaders and internal users.
- Prioritize problems and requirements across the PATI OS portfolio using 80/20.
- Explain technical options in plain business language.
- Help leaders make build, buy, defer or stop decisions.
- Track adoption, cycle time, rework, paid-tool replacement and quality issues in production.
- Stop or defer work that does not meet the required standard. Support decisions with evidence.
15% — Rollout, training and continuous improvement
- Keep products in use after launch.
- Support rollout and onboarding for internal users.
- Write short playbooks and operating instructions.
- Train users and verify that they can run v1 without depending on you.
- Collect feedback and distinguish bugs from enhancements.
- Maintain a visible changelog.
- Help keep AdLauncher, StoreLauncher, Creative Portal, AdVault, AI Portal and Profit Center coherent under one product standard.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis or Product Management.
- Proven experience contributing to or owning digital products, features or workflows from problem definition through release.
- Strong requirements analysis skills: process mapping, user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, edge cases and functional requirements.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI or automation used by non-technical teammates. Personal use of ChatGPT alone does not meet this requirement.
- Ability to map complex workflows across teams and structure an AI project for reliable execution.
- Understanding of product development, backlog, release and user feedback loops.
- Ability to manage context and memory so AI models can execute consistently.
- Clear, direct and structured communication with department leaders.
- Ability to explain technical logic in plain business language.
- Comfortable working daily on macOS or Linux.
- Everyday conversational English for product and engineering alignment.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary based on capability and results. Two-month probation at 85% pay.
- Compensation reviews based on results, following the company’s review cadence.
- 13th-month pay.

AI infrastructure
- Company-funded frontier access for work, currently including: Claude Code 20x, ChatGPT 20x, SuperGrok Heavy, KIMI Vivace (20x), Google Ultra, Seedance,....
- You are expected to use AI as daily operating infrastructure, not only as an occasional assistant.

- Full-time, on-site.
- Location: Midtown M7 Signature, Street 15, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
