Job description for Back-end Developer at Bestarion
A. RESPONSIBILITIES
- You can work remotely/fulltime as a Backend Developer at Bestarion’s partner.
- You will work directly with the founders and executives of new and rapidly growing
- Internetventures to understand their vision and implement it.
- You will use eXtreme Programming (XP) and SCRUM agile development methods whichinclude paired programming, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven
- Development(TDD),andemergentbusiness-valueprioritizeddevelopment.
- You will generally work on large scale sophisticated problems in small teams of two toseven where what you do makes a difference.
- You will enhance your skills in advanced Python or GoLang working with leading American and SEA companies. You will develop applications on Cloud platforms tosupport millions of users.
- You will stay on the cutting edge of Internet application development, businessimplementation and data analytics
B. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent logic skills.
- Excellent object-oriented programming skills.
- Expertise in Python or Golang, with at least 6 months experience.
- Commercial software development with at least 01 year of experience and modern codemanagement and collaboration experience (Slack, github, etc.)
- Nice to have: Javascript, HTML/CSS, and SQL.
- Good written English communications skills is plus.
- Familiar with Unix (Mac OSX, Solaris, or Linux command line).
- Familiar with test driven development (TDD, BDD), refactoring, and programming in an IDE.
- Prefer experience developing applications on the Cloud, such as AWS EC2, Heroku, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using relevant tools including production deployment methods (CI, Kubernates, Docker, etc.)
- Prefer ability to create well-designed user interfaces and create web-optimized graphics using Photoshop, Gimp or similar is plus.
- Prefer experience working in an agile development environment using eXtreme Programming and/or SCRUM.
- Prefer a degree in computer science, mathematics or statistics from a top Vietnamese or foreign university.
- Willing to work closely and continuously with other programmers, almost never programming alone.
