Job description for Automation QA Engineer at 台灣區塊鏈新創（TWCT）
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust, scalable and repeatable test plans and test cases for functional, regression and performance testing with a strong emphasis on using automation frameworks to shorten the test cycle
- Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and defect metrics to relevant stakeholders and participate in day to day QA activities
- Create, maintain, and improve the team’s test frameworks, tools and technologies
- Work with development and management to design and implement test strategies
- Contribute to the building of a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing process improvement activities
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject with at least 2-4 years automation experience
- Experience on Java/ Python/ JavaScript/ Cypress are highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Knowledge of continuous integration practices
- Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development team
- Willing to think outside the box
- A strong sense of urgency and proactivity
- Experience in trading or using cryptocurrencies
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
