Job Description
At Marathon, we would like to build a dynamic team to solve the many challenges and puzzles that come with our rapidly evolving product. We’re seeking an experienced Academic Manager who has deep passion for education and is ready to work in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries.
As our academic manager, you will ensure the best potential learning experience for both our students and teachers.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with our experienced teachers to refine curriculum, including (i) ensuring lessons are aligned with the latest MOET curriculum, (ii) design assessments and examination check-points to gauge our programs' effectiveness, (iii) play an integral part in designing future Marathon growth strategies from an academic perspective;
- Interface directly with Marathon’s (i) teachers, (ii) academic coordinators, (iii) academic co-ordinators and (iv) most importantly students to ensure lessons are delivered on-time, with the best learning experience;
- Shape our supply side strategy including recruitment and design of incentives for teachers (of varied levels of experience and credentials), academic coordinators, academic mentors, and ensure this dove-tails with our product growth roadmap
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Vietnamese, proficient in both spoken and written Vietnamese;
- Experience in MOET Education at a reputed education institution including (i) K-12 school (public or private MOET), (ii) after-school tutoring center;
- Trained in pedagogy;
- Know more people in Vietnamese education than all our competitors;
- Love startups, or particularly fast-changing work environments
