Job description for Wordpress Developer (655) at Senja
- Design and build a highly interactive, user-friendly web application
- Develop and integrate design user interfaces for online and mobile responsive website.
- Perform entire software development (web application) lifecycle, from conceptualisation, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimise web app performance
- Keep up-to-date with latest technologies, best practices and industry trends
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering background
- Minimum 3 years experience in web application development
- Deep understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript, JQuery,
- to customize WordPress platform.
- Experience in creating custom plugins for use with WordPress will be preferred.
- Experience in developing, finding, suggesting, and
- user requirements for frontend and WordPress CMS.
- Experience in Mobile responsive WordPress template customization implementation.
- Hands on experience with REST APIs is also highly preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as RDS, Elastic Cache, SES, S3, EFS, EKS & etc is a plus.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React.JS or Vue.JS is a plus.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, code deployment management tools (Git)
- Experience with agile development (e.g. SCRUM, Lean Startup)
- Able to work both independently as well as within a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
