Job description for Videographer and Video Editor at Media Publishares
This is not a graphic design position!
Overall responsibilities and duties:
Create and develop visual content (video/photography)
Production (50%)
Must be able to independently set-up, light, film/photograph.
Be comfortable in a studio/photoshoot environment.
Able to handle DSLRs, lighting equipment like strobes (eg. profoto) and constant lights (eg. Aputure), setting up c-stands, light stands, flags, etc.
Post-production (25%)
Must be able to edit footage, sound files, create and animate motion graphics, titling, adding music/VO/special effects.
Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Be organised with archiving files.
Pre-production (25%)
Location scout and recce.
Assist the team with pre-production work (ie. storyboarding and creating/collaborating on production decks)
Others
Assist with Video/Photo shoots, as well as other ad-hoc duties when required
Ensure best-practice production processes are followed, for optimal performance across MPS' digital channels. Collaborate closely with the internal teams to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
Able to take on multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicate ideas, opportunities and limitations well—communicate/propose viable solutions when faced with a roadblock.
Be punctual.
