Job description for TAX OFFICER (PEKANBARU) at Pt. Pelayaran Nasional Santan Prima Bahari
- Willing to be placed in Pekanbaru;
- (at least) Bachelor degree of Accountancy, Tax, Management, Finance, Business or relevant study;
- Able to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced work environment;
- Having a positive attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and a polished demeanor;
- Minimum a 2-year of working experience as Tax Officer or equivalent in Marine Transportation Industry;
- Having Brevet A & B Certificate is a huge advantage and highly preferred;
- Proficient in Ms. Office Suite (word, excel and ppt) and tax application software (i.e. e-Faktur and e-SPT);
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting including bookkeeping and journal entry preparation required;
- Extensive experience in researching tax issues and exposure to a variety of entities and individual tax issues;
- Demonstrates proactive thinking;
- Preparing and maintaining all taxes reports (PPh 21, 22, 23, 29, VAT/PPN, 4:2, SKTD, etc.);
- Responsible in all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information of tax files and tax compliance;
- Assist in preparing compiled and reviewed monthly and annual financial statements;
- Direct a variety of tax-related activities in accordance with the overall tax strategy to ensure that the organization meets its tax obligation and objectives;
- Manage the tax audit process, and engage with relevant stakeholders (including tax authorities and consultants) for data collection and to escalate tax issues in due course;
- Evaluate the organization's current and proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions to ensure they comply with all relevant laws and regulations;
- Ensure that all monthly and annual tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time;
- Ensure to keep updated on the current Indonesian Taxation Law and analyze the possible outcome to the company;
- Identifying and mitigating tax risks;
- Conduct tax research.
