Job description for Supply Chain Solution Engineer at Grocery Logistics Singapore
- Assist the Management Team in overseeing, planning, implementing and monitoring of the overall supply chain strategy, in order to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for end-to-end process development/improvement to meet projects’ goals, and to participate in project go-live.
- Collect and interpret analytical and performance data. Identify process bottleneck and recommend improvement opportunities in a timely manner
- Assist Operation Team with Business Continuity Planning and Risk Management
- Participate in IT system development and perform User Acceptation Test
- Project execution to support on various corporate functions
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and best practices, especially in FMCG warehousing and transportation.
- Knowledge in bonded warehouse, pharmaceutical and/or cold chain logistics will be added advantage
- Analyse the areas in logistics operations where autonomous machines and the appropriate models of autonomous machines that can replace inefficient processes
- Process-oriented with good project management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or similar relevant field
