Your main responsibilities include:
· Review and analyze system specifications;
· Collaborate with team to develop effective strategies and test plans;
· Developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality;
· Evaluate product code according to specifications;
· Create logs to document testing phases and defects;
· Report bugs and errors to development teams;
· Help troubleshoot issues;
· Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing;
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle;
· Work closely with the development team to test and automate unit level tests;
· Debug issues at code level and provide information to fix issues;
· Acquire in-depth knowledge of the code and develop new tests for testing in development phase;
· Propose and develop new testing procedures;
· Analyse best practices and emerging concepts in test Automation to improve team development process;
· Participate in product, interface and data design.
We expect you to:
· Min 3+ years relevant testing experience;
· Understand how to create test cases and scripts;
· Familiar using JIRA;
· Experience in delivery using agile approach / scrum;
· Having skill to identify and evaluate rare problems and missing requirements while conducting tests;
· Experience in writing a clear, efficient, and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
· Excellent in testing systems, databases, web applications, mobile applications and reproducing bugs;
· Ability to work as a good team player or individually and willing to work under pressure;
· Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus;
· Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done;
· Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing;
· API testing experience;
· Verifying functionality in various web browsers including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox;
· Experience using Selenium, Soap or other testing tools is a plus;
· Able to communicate in English.
