Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for working on Navisteps’s core B2B expense and travel management solution
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- 2 to 3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in PHP and modern frameworks preferably Yii/Laravel
- Experience in JavaScript preferably Vue, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
- Strong proficiency in Relational Database System especially MySQL
- Experience in Git version control workflows
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design
- Experience with cloud-based deployments is a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
