- To develop a deep knowledge of Hasilwan (HSW)’s products, solutions, and value propositions
- Create solution proposals, presentations, quotations, participate in tender preparations and perform customer communications clearly.
- Gather customer business needs to tailor the right solution with HSW’s products & solutions to help the customer succeed in its project goals.
- Combat competitive threats in the market and educate the customer on HSW’s key values and benefits.
- Anticipate potential energy solution challenges for the proposed project plan and bring those to the customer attention with a resolution.
- Facilitate smooth transition from sales order securing by orienting the engineering & project teams to the project background & introduction to the client.
- Engage with peers on technical matters and help educate others on HSW’s key values and benefits in all its offerings.
- To research (latest industry trends, electricity industry regulations, etc.), scope, estimate and present HSW solutions for various applications with different clients and market segments.
- To act as a key conduit between our business development team and our engineers and partners/clients.
- To help SEs better understand feedback from customers / market intelligence and respond back into the development of new products and processes.
- Assist in analysis/preparation of annual/bi-annual sales targets & report to Management on sales performance.
- To jointly perform risk analysis and opportunities in each tender/sales enquiry & determine mitigation measures (i.e. Insurance exposure, quality of client, payment, contractual, legal terms etc.
- Collaborate with Head of Departments (HODs) to ensure project standards (i.e. internal/external project reports, information security, cost monitoring etc.) and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests / procedures (i.e. ISO 9001, Safety Health Environment compliance etc.).
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Tender Estimation and/or an Engineering company.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure, solar photovoltaic, energy efficiency is a bonus.
- Mandarin speaking is a must.
- Proven sales performance with specific sales achieved with private and or government based commercial/industrial clients.
- The ability to explain basic technical product/services presentation is necessary,
- Ability to plan, strategize, prioritize and execute resource/time to achieve maximum results in achieving sales orders.
- Productive: The role demands high productivity with all departments related to the Sales Team primary function of securing sales orders.
- Get Things Done: The ability to get tasks & duties done decisively.
