AMODA Product Architect and Design 工作職責
Role Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new building products or improve existing ones. This involves creating sketches, 3D Models, and renderings to visualize design concepts
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for building products using CAD software
- Conduct research on various materials and their applications in building product design
- Oversee the creation of physical prototypes for new building products and coordinate testing to validate design integrity, functionality, and safety
- Have and understanding of cost-effectiveness as a goal in the design process
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless product development and successful product launches.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet design objectives and market demands
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Architecture or related field is essential to understand the principles of building design and construction
- 1-2 years of experience in designing building products, such as building materials, fittings, or interior elements, is highly desirable
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools to create detailed drawings and technical specifications for building products
- Understanding different materials, their properties, and suitability for specific building applications is crucial in product design
- Ability to create physical prototypes and conduct testing to validate the functionality and performance of the building products
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and the ability to incorporate eco-friendly elements into building products
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for working with architects, engineers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to bring the products to market
