Job description for Marketing Analyst at Revou
- Analyze internal and external data to find valuable insights that matter to the business, then report the findings based on the interpretation of data
- Develop marketing recommendations based on findings and assist the stakeholder for the implementation
- Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection
- Plan and execute on additional data collection needed, including polls, surveys, etc
- Develop dashboards and automate the marketing reporting process
- Remain fully informed on market trends
- Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
- Highly skilled in marketing research and data analysis - You have to be very comfortable with data, able to make deep analyses, and make actionable plans based on your findings
- Deep understanding of marketing metrics - Perfectly understand every marketing metric and know which metrics to focus on
- Proficient in data visualization - Able to translate data to easy-to-digest charts to support your hypotheses
- Understand the general knowledge of all digital marketing channels including but not limited to: Paid Channels (Paid Social Media, SEM, Youtube Ads, and GDN), Organic Channels (SEO, Content Marketing, and social media organic), and Retention Channel (CRM/Email Marketing).
- Familiarity with web analytics and CRM platforms such as Hubspot - Know how to utilize the tools feature to collect the data that you need
- Growth mindset - willingness to learn and improve. You are unhappy with business as usual, you are constantly looking at new opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your work and how things are done.
- Confident with your time and project management skill - You will be working with multiple stakeholders at the same time including but not limited to your team and other project owners on a daily basis. So you will need to be able to manage your time between operational tasks and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a high-paced environment that iterates on weekly or monthly cycles rather than semester or annual cycles
