Job description for Lead React Developer at Stockbit
Description
- Collaborate with Product Managers, backend developers and other team members to architect the right solution for feature developments
- Be the point of reference for technical discussions during product development
- Ensure best practices and excellent coding standards & quality are implemented within the team.
- Improve and maintain an effective workflow within the team.
- Introduce new (fun & interesting) technologies or tools that can improve team performance and output.
- Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to your team as well as the program and mitigate them in a timely manner
- Last but not least, hands-on coding is not off-limit. You may be required to be involved in the crucial parts of the system.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Web Frontend Development, using ReactJS in particular, along with its state management implementations eg. Redux, react-hooks etc
- Has experience in leading a team previously and understands what it takes to take the mantle of leadership
- Experienced in running an effective workflow within a team.
- Excellent problem solving & communication skills. Loves working within a team.
- Solid javascript skills and foundational understanding of how the web works, in particular how JS, HTML and CSS interacts with each other.
- Experienced in using Typescript and understands the importance of static data typing.
- Excellent understanding on what quality code is and how to achieve them in a frontend application.
- Good basic knowledge in best practices & common conventions necessary for constructing a good UI/UX.
- Self-motivated & loves to keep up-to-date with the latest development in Frontend programming.
- Experienced in using Cloud environments.
- Design System experience is a big plus
- WebAssembly experience is a plus
