1. About the company
- Our partner is a Singaporean-based startup, providing a collection of tools to help an online store scale. These tools help an online store save time, reduce costs and increase sales, hence improve their profitability. It is a complex product being shipped at very high velocity to solve urgent and important needs for online stores. To help clients ship fast, they have architected their product around a tech stack that is simple and well understood. The company is a web first product and each seller tool inside is a Django application with it's own data models and simple UI.
2. Job Description:
As a full stack engineer (product), you would have an opportunity to build, maintain and scale complete seller tools. To be more specific, you will have below opportunities:
- Take the requirements/problem statements from the customers and team and come up with technical scope
- Develop and test a seller tool to address the customer pain point using Django, Vue.JS and integrate with rest of the platform
- Perform any improvements as the tool evolves, scale and improve performance as customers adopt
- Work toward improving tool's adoption by our customers
- Moreover, enable online seller to become profitable and change their lives with your code
3. Job Requirements:
Must have:
- Skills needed: Vue.JS; Python/Django/Flask
- 1-2 years of full stack development experience with Django or any other web frameworks
- Eagerness to learn new things fast and iterate over and excel at what you do
- Have an eye for improving product features whether it is developed by you or your teammates
- Deep empathy towards customer pain points
4. Benefits:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Working hours: 5 days/week. 9-6 Singapore time (OT is required in case of emergency)
- Annual leave: 12 days/year. Public holidays follow the Singapore government.
