Responsibilities:
- General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations.
- Prepare payments, bank transfers and do the bank transactions.
- Produce periodic financial reports and other financial documents.
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
- Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database.
- Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
- Completion of Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum of 1 years relevant work experience.
- Work experience from reputable audit firms or related position.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Knowledge and hands on experience with Accounting Software.
- An analytical mind. A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
