Job description for Executive Merchant Operation at TAPTAP
- Responsible for effective collaboration between merchants’ operation team and TAPTAP. Work with merchants’ operation team to ensure adherence to agreements between merchants and TAPTAP regarding partnership execution at stores (e.g. POSM delivery and display, store staff training, store activation, etc.)
- Develop and deliver all training to merchants’ operation team to ensure accurate and appropriate execution of agreed partnership (e.g. staff training on TAPTAP’s introduction script, how to redeem vouchers on POS, FAQ, etc.)
- Conduct regular re-training sessions with Merchants to enhance their proficiency in utilizing all the features/ tools currently available
- Problem solve issues involving other functional units experienced by merchants
- Creating business processes that would support the needs of merchants effectively (e.g. to make a training script: Handling multiple scenarios in response to a user action…)
- Ensure that all relevant training documents pertaining to Merchants’ lifecycle are kept up to date, in accordance with internal guidelines; and are in line with various departments within the organization, such as Merchant, Product, PMO, Marketing
- Able to troubleshoot a wide variety of issues pertaining to onboarding, activation, and deactivation of products deployed (including but not limited to cooperating with various departments within the organization to solve issues, and recommend steps to mitigate future risks)
- Other tasks assigned by Merchant/ Account Manager
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in training & operation in F&B industry or related fields.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems and daily operation as the role is required to execute business agreements
- Abilities to navigate and execute in a highly ambiguous environment
- People-oriented, time-oriented, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to self-study quickly; the ability to adapt well to the high-pressure, fast-changing environment of a startup company
