Job description for Employee Wellness Head at Gear Inc.
The Employee Wellness Head for Asia Pacific is responsible for managing the wellness and governance program of the organization with a key focus on mental, physical, professional and social wellbeing of every employee. You will design, initiate, manage, and sustain wellness program strategies to increase awareness in health, well-being and pursuit of healthy-lifestyle, proper work-balance and work-life integration within the workplace.
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct, manage, and oversee all wellness program teams and all day-to-day wellness program operations across the region
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor compliance with workplace wellness policies and standards in a timely manner; resolve issues and ensure the updating of policies where appropriate
- Manage wellness program implementations with effectiveness, on-time delivery and within budget
- Anticipate employee wellness needs proactively and translate requirements into executable action plans with clear objectives, goals, and timelines
- Identify gaps and room for improvements within the wellness governance framework
- Participate in the company’s regional senior management forums so that it sustains its leadership position in the industry
- Conceptualize, design, and facilitate employee engagement programs, both in-person and virtual
- Lead the communication, implementation, and assessment of employee satisfaction and other group-wide internal surveys
- Spearhead company-wide employee engagement activities and surveys along with ensuring centers active participation and support for the programs
- Partner with HR Team and various internal groups for the creation and execution of company-wide or group-specific engagement initiatives
- Manage, coordinate and oversee event organizers, both internal and external stakeholders, execution of the group’s events, engagement, wellbeing programs and community events
- Support Director with monthly, quarterly, annual reports that provide insights to employee wellness and satisfaction across all locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Licensed therapist with Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/ Psychotherapy/ Social Work and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
- At least 5 years clinical experience delivering both 1:1 and group coaching sessions across the mental health spectrum, including issues related to one’s employment
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Technical knowledge of health and insurance and wellness benefits
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the company
- Proven track record of meeting and delivering targets and commitments
- Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking, creative thinking, problem-solving decision making and analytical skills
- BPO/ Content moderation environment work experience is preferred
- HR leadership background is a plus
- Willing to relocate to Bangkok, Indonesia, or Vietnam
- Willing to work on public holidays and shifting schedules including night shifts
