Job Description: Director – Business Development
We're looking for a highly motivated, commercially-driven and experienced Director of Business Development (ideally with digital agency background) to own and drive company revenue growth and be responsible for new business.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about Digital Media, Social Media is results-oriented and proactive. You would be reporting directly to the founder of the company and working closely with different service heads.
As Director of the Business Development, you will play a multi-faceted role across revenue/ business growth, client development, building a high performing team and managing multiple stakeholders.
Revenue Responsibilities:
• Generate and Drive Revenue from new and existing clients from DKI Jakarta and other region in Java.
• Generate new leads and opportunities through an aggressive and constant outreach a program that includes a combination of tapping existing relationships as well as New Business Development.
• Work with Strategy and Client Servicing teams to craft campaigns
and strategies for brands.
• Manage client relationships with companies, agencies and other revenue-generating partners.
• Manage day-to-day sales operation, handle the empanelment processes, agreement and other paperwork, put monthly content delivery schedules for each client, actively seek client feedback to maximize satisfaction and overall be responsible for delivering great results.
• Complete account responsibility from the first contact to end negotiation using professional integrated selling techniques across email, phone and video conferencing to grow assigned territory/category.
• Get clients to renew and expand their engagement with us.
• Create and manage a strong pipeline of business to meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets.
• Consistently meet or exceed Business Development goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts.
Business & Strategic Responsibilities :
• Own the ‘Go to market’, business planning and growth strategy for the market.
• Develop a strong understanding of company offerings and create a convincing value proposition for potential clients based on their business needs.
• Manage and motivate a team of business development professionals to grow revenues and sell across the entire service offerings.
• Pitch & Acquire brands for Voxxy.
• Should be proficient in making formal presentations to advertisers.
• Should manage planning and development of existing accounts and nurturing new accounts, closing of sales opportunities through accurate forecasting and account strategy.
• Plan annual and quarterly revenue/ margin/ client-related goals for the business and teams.
• Own and drive senior client relations at CXO/ VP- Marketing levels.
• Contribute to key client activations, business reviews and growth plans on an ongoing basis.
• Manage and monitor sales and business development teams’ sales activity and pipeline.
• Help drive some key strategic partnerships for the market which have long term impact on shaping the market.
• Work closely with product teams to bring in market feedback and shape the product roadmap for the business.
• Work closely with marketing to strengthen Voxxy’s brand positioning and external presence in the market.
What is expected out of you :
• Deep understanding of Digital Advertising, Influencer & Content Marketing ecosystem
• Experience of working with a relevant network of clients e.g. performance advertisers, influencer marketing teams, agencies, digital marketing heads, brand CMOs etc.
• Should be well networked with various digital advertising agencies and key planners across all leading Clients & Media agencies.
• Stakeholder management and ability to work with multiple cross-functional stakeholders across product, tech, marketing, finance, legal etc.
• Being updated on the latest industry trends with respect to the Influencer Technology, Marketing Technology & Content ecosystem.
• People Management skills, managing a diverse team of sales and business development managers spread across Indonesia.
• Has worked in a Boutique or Corporate Digital Agency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience selling business solutions to marketers and driving revenue through the development of longterm strategic relationships.
• Exposure to marketing technology/automation or online media sales at a top publisher platform or topranked domain consulting with brand/performance marketers.
• Ability to understand and manipulate data to form a compelling sales story.
