Job description for Community Manager at Cyber8
- Develop and maintain the brand voice and image associated to boost the growth of our games’ players through branded and unbranded communities.
- Develop, implement plans for player activation, increasing engagement and interaction, always raise and keep the heat of our game as “talk of the town” across online communities.
- Manage & implement activation campaigns, events on social channels.
- Optimise community engagement tactics as part of Lifecycle Marketing strategy to produce user-focused content and activities.
- Network with community members, identify industry communities’ leaders and KOLs. Train and empower community leaders to participate on a more significant engagement level, creating activities to have endorsement from KOLs with clear metrics to measure the effectiveness.
- Provide customers support in order to help them in their needsCollaborate with the Marketing & Product teams to consolidate community campaigns/events for community;
- Identify trends/topical market research on both internal & external channels and report to internal teams, in condensed and analysed summaries.
- Monitor and measure the success of community engagement (i.e number of fans, engagement, reach, and any other pre-defined KPI) reporting to Product Managers and sharing with all the game team members
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing, community manager or blockchain with track record;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with esport games or crypto games specific.
- Experiencing in managing different stakeholders, including communities’ moderators, leaders, KOLs to deliver business objectives.
- Passion for learning about blockchain, cryptocurrency, and new technologies is required;
- Leadership skills;
- Exceptional prioritisation and project management skills;
- Experience with social media platforms used by businesses, including but not limited to Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, Reddit, Medium, Telegram, Facebook, etc.
- Startup experience, with demonstrated ability to move fast while maintaining an excellent quality bar is a plus;
