Job description for Community Lead at Crater
Crater is a co-creation space for social impact and education. Through curated communities based within schools, we connect resources and networks to impact-driving activities and expose students to the heart of changemaking.
As the Community Lead, your core focus will be on building relationships with the Crater’s tenants, understanding their needs and gifts, in order to bring them together and synergise for greater social impact. Crater thrives on the heart and soul of the people in the community.
You will be a catalyst to creating a vibrant and enjoyable co-working space, as well as bring people, ideas and businesses together in the space.
Crater is looking to hire an experienced Community Lead, where candidates progress with a chance to lead in a Director position at the end.
Roles and Responsibilities
Crater Tenant Experience
- Support the Crater team to build and grow relationships and partnerships with tenants and partners of Crater, that align with Crater’s strategic direction to create social impact and nurture effective changemakers
- Develop relationships with our tenants and proactively understand their needs and gifts
- Make recommendations of how to improve the overall Crater experience for tenants
Engagement and Events
- Create a well-connected and collaborative community through events, or any innovative methods
- Brainstorm, design, develop and execute community engagement programmes for Crater tenants, including operations, logistics, programme feedback and follow-up
- Identify opportunities on how Crater can support our tenants
- Work closely with the Crater team to drive online social media engagement
Administration & Operations
- Organise tenant-welcoming and member move ins/outs
- Work with Crater team to ensure overall cleanliness of the space
- Work with Crater team regarding maintenance, improvement of space based on feedback from members and keen observation

Experience and Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a coworking space or social impact organisation would be an advantage
- Fluency in English, any additional language is a plus
