Job description for Business Development Manager at (EF) English First for Adults Indonesia
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to help with growing EF corporate operations and development. This person will open potential new markets and industry by ensuring that these clients get their English Training Program tailored exclusively for their staff.
- Generating and expanding new B2B opportunities across Indonesia, and especially in penetrating government institutions
- Focusing on high growth of B2B; developing and leading a long-term sales and growth strategy
- Leading initiatives that will help identify B2B expansion and distribution opportunities within existing and new channels
- Preparing sales action plans and strategies
- Planning daily activities; including customer visit, executing meetings, networking activities, sales demo and detailed presentations
- Making sure that customer service satisfaction and good client relationships are of main importance
- Delivering the service based on agreed timeline, aligning with other internal function for smooth deliverables
- Meeting monthly to discuss annual sales target and account growth
- Conducting weekly sales report
- Reporting on developments in the market on a quarterly basis (regulatory, competition, price-levels, new ingredients, distribution channels)
- Developing long-term relations within the industry and building up a trusting and efficient cooperation.
- A minimum of 3-year experience in Sales & Business Development
- Proven experience in growing a consumer brand across any sector, such as edtech, eCommerce, media, finance, travel, FMCG, etc.
- Familiarity or experience in Government Institution/ Relations will be an advantage
- Proven strong track record of hitting sales target
- An existing network of business contacts is essential, i.e. schools, institutions, corporates and governments
- Confident in networking and outbound sales presentation
- Tech Savvy, Familiar with CRM
- Excellent knowledge in Education/ EduTech growth will be an advantage
- A relevant bachelor's qualification or equivalent experience/master degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation skills
- Understanding customer’s business segment and activities
- Willingness to travel (light)
- Strong growth mindset and continually seek improvement and are rigorous in his/her pursuit of it
- Consultative approach and quick problem solver
