We are looking for a Business Development Associate (Merchant Development) (1 permanent position) to join our team based in KL/Penang (Malaysia).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Increase the number of cake shops partners for our gift vouchers.
- Reach out to potential cake shops in Malaysia.
- Arrange video call appointments for account managers.
- Update the basic deck and call scripts provided.
- Find new leads and add them into the CRM system.
- Assist account managers in any other activities required to promote the use of the gift vouchers.
Requirements:
- Education level: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
- Experience working with cake shops and cafes is required
- Friendly, firm, and able to work well in a team with minimal supervision
- Comfortable communicating with merchants over the phone and email
- Meticulous, organized, and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Able to handle stress well and maintain a positive attitude
- Able to communicate in English, Mandarin and Malay.
- Need to work from home, possess own laptop/PC with good internet access
