Job description:
We're looking for an aggressive, high-energy, and result-driven Business Development and Channel Manager with in-depth knowledge in networking requirements in enterprise application and understanding of competitiveness of various enterprise network solution. The person is expected to play multiple roles in interfacing with potential customers by leading customer engagements and pricing discussions, sharing customer’s application requirements with product organization to define delivery feature & schedule and drafting engagement contract with customer for legal review.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, research and approach potential clients. Own the entire process from client engagement to contractual agreement.
- Primary contact for day-to-day communications about Programs, partners, and the incentives/requirements of Ataya Partner Alliance Installer/Integrator Programs
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
- Develop pricing strategy and lead business model/pricing discussions with potential clients. Provide sales forecast
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Manage discussions with technology partners to ensure the end-end solution development best address the application needs.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Coordinate with technical team to jointly produce proposal for PoC or commercial deployment plan to customer
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Knowledge of applications for smart logistics tracking, smart manufacturing and other vertical fields is an advantage. Experience with enterprise networking sales is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication, listening, persuasive, and presentation skills. Fluent in both English and Chinese
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong experience leading large cross-functional projects with many stakeholders and hard deadlines
- Ability to operate under ambiguity
- Ability to build relationships and lead cross-functional teams. Ability to work effectively with engineering team, technical expertise not required but an appreciation and ability to understand product applications is essential.
- Solid business and financial acumen and analytical skills
- CRM reporting experience preferred
- 5+ years of sales or program management preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
