Job description for Assistant Manager / Manager - Administration (ACIS) [NIE] at National Institute Of Education
- Manage and coordinate the administrative review process for all procurement and budget requests for the institute.
- Manage and monitor the billings and charges of support services to departments.
- Provide secretariat support for committees or meetings chaired by the Divisional Director and/or Department Heads.
- Review, develop and establish internal procedures and guidelines as well as draft reports and papers for the Divisional Director’s Office.
- Plan, organise and facilitate events, trainings, staff welfare activities and divisional events.
- Manage the welfare matters of the divisional staff.
- Coordinate with departments for data collection, checking and submission.
- Facilitate and work with multiple departments for orientation programmes.
- Proof-read and draft memos and communications for the division.
- Develop and design promotional, marketing and awareness campaigns materials and infographics.
- Provide secretariat, operational and administrative support to NIE Data Protection Officer and the personal data protection working committee.
- Manage and maintain the role-based email accounts and respond to any queries received.
- Manage and maintain the social media platforms including web contents and Facebook page.
- Manage and track staff’s training budget and KPIs.
- Provide administrative support for the divisional business continuity management and recovery exercises/events.
- Any other administrative duties as assigned.
- A University Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Social Sciences or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in administration and event management. Experience in Higher Education would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe.
- Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
- Meticulous and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good people management skills.
