Job description for Account Manager (Sales) at UCARS Pte Ltd
- Connect, acquire and sign-up merchants (online and in-store) in the various categories critical to the overall strategy and objectives as determined by the Company
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on building deep and lasting relationships to capture market share and increase profitability/revenue
- Drive growth for accounts, measured by number of listings and revenue
- Ensure that Users and Dealer-partners thrive on the platform
- Analyse data and develop initiatives to increase revenues/profitability
- Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Work across functions to tailor account specific needs (e.g. customised reporting, marketing support, integrations, product, etc.) to make sure accounts have the best possible experience on the platform
- Negotiate merchant contracts and supporting pricing strategy within set parameters.
- Provide support to the key accounts
- Number of Listings on the Marketplace
- Revenue from monetization of Marketplace products
- Retention rate ( %) of dealer-partners
- More than 2 years of experience in e-commerce/ marketplace user acquisition, and listing revenue/sales with proven sales record, preferably in the automotive/tech industry
- Minimum of Diploma certification is required
- Knowledge of merchant operations and systems are distinct advantages
- Self-initiated, and motivated to overachieve, working with high productivity while paying attention to detail
- Avid learner and problem solver
- Independent and collaborative team player
- Confident hunter who is able to articulate sales pitches clearly with an ability to connect quickly with the audience.
