Job description for Structural Engineer for Fresher at Simpson Strong-Tie Vietnam Company Limited

MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC
As a Wood Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for handling certain structural projects and collaborate directly with our US stakeholder

· Conduct the post-design steps including reviewing the Truss/ Beam Design and actively communicate with your partners and stakeholders to propose the solution for improvement or adjustment

· Provide engineering services related to Simpson Strong-Tie wood structures for customers mostly located in North America

· Perform additional tasks as per requests by the team leader

You will be trained about Simpson structure components and internal design software. Please note that your working time would be 4 Nights per week (9 PM – 6 AM)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

· Degree in Civil Engineering or in other related majors
· English skills: Fairly good command in English (Reading and Writing), or equivalent to TOEIC 550 Comprehend construction documents including architectural and engineering drawings
· Strong knowledge of structures related to Construction Engineering
· Be able to work independently as well as be a team-player
· Ability to respect tight deadlines and work under pressure
· Good organizational skill with sense of carefulness is highly required
· Acquire windows-based computer skills (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD
