Job description for Cloud Architect:
Advise clients on leading cloud practices and architectural approaches
Defines technical direction and roadmap for Cloud migrations and managing the implementation and technical solutions
Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across diverse areas including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security
Architect cloud-native, hybrid, or multi-cloud solutions to meet the client’s needs
Own the content and lead workshops on technical topics with the client
Develop architectural artifacts to lead the delivery of a successful implementation
Support sales teams across various geographies on cloud projects
Design and build the Multi-Cloud platform (mainly Azure & AWS)
Building the cloud solutions with the best industrial practices - elastically scalable, proper fault tolerance, highly reliable, highly secured, and easily managed architecture
Working with senior management team to define cloud strategy, cloud adoption plan, cloud transition plan
Working with Application team and DevOps team on designing and setting up the container-based & server-less architecture
Lead and drive pre-sales to support our sales effort by articulating the business value and solution offerings to customers and prospects.
Qualify opportunities, build customer rapport and facilitate customer/prospect evaluation of relevant products/systems as part of the sales engagement process.
Must-have requirements for Cloud Architect:
5+ years enterprise-scale technical experience for Cloud service delivery & production.
Experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and networking eg: Compute, storage, virtualisation, load balancing, caching, routing.
Experience of full stack application architecture and delivery
Experience practitioner with orchestration, automation, Azure Resource Manager, Python deployments, Docker swarm, Kubernetes
Experienced practitioner with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, Alicloud
Expertise with open source technologies and containerisation
Expertise with big data and advanced analytics workloads and tooling
