Job description for Ruby on Rails Web Developer - Remote (WFH) at Chrome Asia
Looking for a Web developer to work from anywhere remotely on a project basis to complete the Front End Development.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on the solution
Requirements:
• Min 2-3 years of web development experience using Ruby on Rails.
• Min 4 years of software engineering experience across the full development lifecycle.
• Working experience in Html5 and Typescript.
• Proficient with both NoSQL & SQL (Mongo, Redis, MySQL)
• Working experience of containerization framework (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes).
• Good understanding of authentication frameworks and data communication protocols like webSockets, signalR, Socket.IO.
• Good working knowledge of CI/CD environments or pipelines. (Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS Codepipeline)
• Familiar with cloud technologies (AWS and Digital Ocean). Example: IAM, EC2, Lambda, AWS RDS, Elasticsearch, AWS CodeBuild etc.
• Other skills required: Redis Pub/Sub, Cache & Message Broker
