Job description for Regional Product Lead, Marketplace (Remote Possible) at Glints Taiwan
- Be entrusted with delivering outsized business impact (user activation, liquidity, and retention) by shaping Glints’ flagship marketplace product on both web and mobile
- Harness user insights, stakeholder feedback, and data to inform market positioning and to develop and prioritise a product roadmap for our marketplace product
- Collaborate with a squad of engineers, designers and user researchers to reliably execute discovery and delivery sprints. Consistently minimising product risk and ship high impact features which generate user and business value
- Drive expansion of product market fit via innovative and adjacent use cases, as well as through localisation and geographical expansion of our product to new markets such as Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan and Malaysia
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as commercial and growth teams to align on product priorities
- Lead the generation of product insights through quantitative data analysis and qualitative user research
- Build and contribute to a world-class product culture within the largest product squad in Glints
- Key strategic role and contributor: You will have the chance to be part of the core product team, involved in the development of the overall company product strategy and direction. This is not simply an executional product role, but one in which you will be encouraged and expected to contribute to strategy and high level vision. You will work hand in hand with the Director of Product and Head of Growth to shape the future of our core product
- Diversity of product exposure: This role will have the opportunity to work on both web and mobile products, serving our B2C and B2B users
- Regional exposure: This role will also be responsible for driving the geographic expansion and localisation efforts to some of the fastest growing markets in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Philippines
- Product-Market-Fit expansion opportunities: This role is a great fit for product leads who thrive at building and scaling the impact of core products, taking them to the next S-curve of growth through Product Market Fit expansion.
- You likely have 5+ Years of Product Management experience (or equivalent)
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills - known for being able to cut through complexity and noise with excellent clarity of thought
- Execution: Consistent track record of delivering results through high quality execution
- Strategic thinking and vision: Aptitude for higher level product visioning, skilled in strategic thinking with the demonstrated ability to think through competitive differentiation; ability to understand and translate high level strategy into tactical product execution
- Collaboration: Highly effective at enabling cross-functional collaboration between product, design, engineering, and user research with a demonstrated track record of effective collaboration with business stakeholders such as Growth and Business teams Problem solving and analytical skills: Excellent problem solving skills via first principles thinking; comfortable working with quantitative data to analyse patterns and to derive insights
- User insights and research skills: Strong ability to derive relevant product insights from user research
- Leadership & Mentorship Skills
- Prior experience with marketplace products OR B2C Mobile App Experience OR B2B SaaS experience
- Prior work experience covering the Indonesia and Vietnamese markets
- Interest in disrupting the traditional HR, recruitment, and career development space
- Quantitative data skills including SQL and familiarity with product analytics tools like Amplitude
