Job description for Project Manager at Papaya Insurtech Asia
- Responsible for the project before stakeholders. Coordinate with stakeholders, report on project status, propose options to make the project run smoothly, ensuring project quality.
- Manage the project’s scope and timeline.
- Coordinate project events (retrospective meetings, weekly meetings, daily stand-ups).
- Manage project team, evaluate/review project team capacity. Manage project workload of the members.
- Risk management. Identify/reduce/prevent risks to ensure projects run on schedule.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
- Coach team members.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Experience working as Project Manager or Scrum Master for at least 2 years for a software development team.
- Excellent skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Highly motivated, directed, and a team player
- Excellent English in both written, and oral communication
- Knowledge of various project management approaches: Waterfall, Agile (Scrum, Kanban,..)
