Job Description
Papaya is currently looking for a Project Manager for our Product team that is ready to help drive the vision of our products and be the voice of our customers while ensuring our product team delivers on those customer needs. As Project Manager of Papaya, you will work closely with the Growth, Operations and Technology Team. This position will report to the Head of Engineering and Product
This hands-on role requires collaboration, contribution, and facilitation with the development and product teams.
Your Skills and Experience
- Responsible for the project before stakeholders. Coordinate with stakeholders, report on project status, propose options to make the project run smoothly, ensuring project quality.
- Manage the project’s scope and timeline.
- Coordinate project events (retrospective meetings, weekly meetings, daily stand-ups).
- Manage project team, evaluate/review project team capacity. Manage project workload of the members.
- Risk management. Identify/reduce/prevent risks to ensure projects run on schedule.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
- Coach team members.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Experience working as Project Manager or Scrum Master for at least 2 years for a software development team.
- Excellent skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Highly motivated, directed, and a team player
- Excellent English in both written, and oral communication
- Knowledge of various project management approaches: Waterfall, Agile (Scrum, Kanban,..)

Working hours and location:
- Working from Monday to Friday, from 9 am - 06 pm (1 hour for lunch break).
- Location: Floor 6 DreamPlex 195 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 15, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
