Sr Travel Operation Specialist reporting directly to Chief Travel Designer
Responsible for understanding, processing and finally communicating the needs of the customers with the overall business.
The Objective KPIS of the Job
1. Close travel deals (new enquiries)
2. Managing accuracy of clients travel admin and request on time
3. Meeting the company product sales target
5. Eliminates travel risks and incidents
Responsible for (Job Description):
1. Ensuring that all depart communications are on message and communicated effectively internally and externally.
2. Process new travel requests and ensure closing to meet the company’s target.
3. Procure and analyze travel suppliers in key destination that fits with company’s strategic goals and ensure quality deliveries.
4. Handling the day-to-day correspondences and liaison with internal and external parties to ensure confirmed travel briefs are processed with an updated quotation.
5. Respond promptly to customer travel request by emails, phone, WhatsApp, or face to face and organize workflow to meet customer timeframe. Handle the deliveries of booking confirmation, invoices, and credits.
6. To update every daily progress at the beginning and end of the working day.
7. Responsible for updating new travel products and current portfolio sales tools: website and catalogue.
8. Maintain records on every customer and supplier’s database contacts and meeting notes.
9. Keeping quotation updated with current changes.
10. Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions that benefits the company and clients.
11. Analysis of competitor products and advice management its finding to improve.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or other similar degree with experience in tourism or travel
2. Experience minimum 3 years in MICE or Traveling Agent or Project Arrangement with tight schedule
3. Experience in managing priority clients
4. Experience in detail operations and monitoring operations with tight time management
5. Experience in project management is preferred
6. Having knowledge to use project management tools to monitor the operations schedule
7. Get used to maintain client needs and client important moments
8. Digital savvy to monitor the operations and time management
9. Good communication skill
10. Good coordination skill
11. Having negotiation skill
