Access Communications is on the hunt for fashion/beauty/lifestyle savvy, bright, enthusiastic, media-savvy graduates to join us as an interns.
As an intern in Access Communications Singapore office, you'll be given a hands-on role in the operations of a boutique communications & events agency. This experience will be invaluable if you are considering a career in PR or marketing communications.
Your role will be to provide administrative support to the PR executives in their daily duties with tasks including collaborating on research projects, report generation and maintenance as well as general office tasks. In short you'll have to be independent, resourceful and street-smart. We are looking for folks lots of positive energy and a great attitude.
Think you can handle GOOGLE X "Emily in Paris" intern's work, then apply today! Fluency in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates) is essential. You should be interested in arts, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, tech and social media.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Access Communications this position will provide you with the foundation knowledge you need to become a fully-fledged account executive as well as giving you the opportunity to become the key co-ordinator on the team accounts you will work on.
Through on-the-job training, you will cover:
- Introduction to life at Access Communications
- Introduction to PR and social media
- Writing skills and generating content
- Working with the media and vendor partners
- Management and interpersonal skills
- Creative and commercial awareness
- Team leadership
- Presenting an Access Communications new business pitch
You will be responsible for supporting the team on all aspects of their day-to-day activity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing campaigns with executives
- Working with both traditional and new tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, social media, online resources) to provide effective support to the team.
- Researching and identifying appropriate reporters and news contacts on an ongoing basis
- Developing media and key community stakeholder relationships
- Monitoring relevant news sources and alerting the team to breaking news relevant to clients
- Understanding and identifying strong news angles and media opportunities
- Support on securing ongoing and regular media opportunities such as columns and Q&As
- Creating valuable and insightful briefing sheets to assist clients with their press communications
- Organising media interviews/briefings
- Assisting with the coordination of press tours, events and review programmes
- Devising press materials and compelling content for both traditional and digital media
- Tracking, measuring and reporting on media relations activities
