Go was created at Google in 2007 to improve programming productivity in an era of multi-core networked machines and large code bases. Today, over 10 years since its public announcement in 2009, Go’s use inside Google has grown tremendously.
Go has turned out to have a much broader reach than we had ever expected. Its growth in the industry has been phenomenal, and it has powered many projects.
We are looking for a great Go developer with a strong understanding of how best to leverage and exploit the language’s unique paradigms, idioms, and syntax. Your primary focus will be on developing Go packages and programs that are scalable and maintainable. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
a. Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
b. Translating software requirements into stable, working, high performance software
c. Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro services distributed architecture
a. Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
b. Knowledge of common Go routine and channel patterns
c. 2 Years proven experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools
d. Go’s template language
e. Go’s code generation tools, such as Stringer
f. Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
g. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git and SVN)
h. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MSQL Server
j. Clean code architecture is a plus
k. Familiarity with web-socket, cron-job
l. Familiar with dev ops, docker is a plus
m. List education level or certification you require
