Job description for DevOps Engineer at C2C TECH HUB
Job Overview: As a member of the team, you will look after our system architecture, service deployment, and maintenance to ensure all products are running healthily 24/7 and to provide a supreme user experience to our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in the design and implementation of high-availability service architecture.
- GitOps/IaC maintains a number of EC2 instances, Elastic Beanstalk, and Kubernetes clusters on EKS and databases.
- Apply metrics observation tools and visualize infrastructure metrics with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Cloud-native logging with ELK, Loki.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop Infrastructure tools in Go, Bash, and Python.
- Explore new technical trends, and continuously improve current workflows for a more flexible, stable, and scalable system.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in operating *nix OSes on servers and utilizing Linux as the main OS on a personal Laptop/PC.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and its ecosystem.
- Knowledge of DevOps/Gitops toolkits: source code version control, infrastructure as code, configuration management, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Proactive working attitude, open-minded and result-oriented.
- Available for off-hour support.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Kubernetes is a big plus.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline in practice.
- Hands-on experience automating tasks with a scripting language (Bash/Python preferred).
- Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB).
- Experience with Node.js.
- Agile mindset in product development.
- Experience with full-cycle product development.
- Experience working with the development team.
- Good at English/Japanese and communication skills.
