Job description for DevOps & QA Engineer at Altech Omega Andalan, Pt
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DevOps & QA Engineer to join our technology team. This role combines expertise in DevOps practices with Quality Assurance skills to ensure the seamless deployment of software products. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AWS, S3, Wasabi for DevOps, as well as Selenium and Appium for QA. As a DevOps & QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our development and deployment processes to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software development and testing teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment between development and operations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments, monitoring, and testing processes.
- Configure, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS, S3, and Wasabi to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployments.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium and Appium for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement testing strategies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and report defects using a structured approach.
- Work closely with the QA and development teams to address issues and drive quality improvements.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to DevOps and QA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields will be a plus.
- Proven experience as a DevOps & QA Engineer with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including S3 and experience with cloud infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Located in or willing to work in the Yogyakarta area.
- Willingness to commit to a 6-month probation period with the potential to transition to a permanent employee or a 1-year contract after successful completion.

Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 5.500.000 to 9.000.000 IDR, commensurate with experience and skills.
