Job description for BRAND MANAGER PHARMA at DKT INDONESIA
- Develop Brand Marketing Strategy and Programs for both Direct-to-Consumer and Professional support to drive growth, distribution, visibility, and strong consumer & professional communications. Build brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability.
- Have a good understanding of consumer behaviour, be up-to-date on market trends and continuously monitor competitor activity.
- Responsible for conducting research, analysing data, developing go-to-market strategies and reporting brand performance.
- Planning and executing marketing plans and initiatives including campaigns, events, sponsorships, product knowledge trainings, healthcare providers’ training.
- Work closely with different teams to create and execute marketing initiatives that resonate with the target consumer audience (and healthcare providers as applicable) and increase sales.
- Develop product knowledge training slides and presentations, Detailing Aids, Brochures, and other marketing materials that will help field sales personnel become more effective in medical detailing and in communicating the products/brands in a consistent manner. Ensure field sales personnel is utilizing the marketing materials as per guidelines and to full respect.
- Develop consumer fliers, pamphlets, and other merchandizing materials (POS materials, danglers, banners, display stands, etc) for in-store visibility and communicating the brands and their benefits to consumers. Ensure such materials are used appropriately and as per DKT guidelines.
- Develop literature (including editorials/articles and content) and testimonials that can be used to support the brands, including endorsement by key opinion leaders, and strategic relationships and partnerships with relevant associations, key industry players, and organizations.
- Work closely with the Media & Communication teams and third-party agencies to develop media & communication plans for the brands in line with our communication pillars and target audiences, with a view to increase awareness and uptake. This includes digital, social media, print, outdoor, TV and radio.
- Develop and implement appropriate route to the market strategies that resonate with the target market. Develop product strategies and plans to meet product category objectives, vis-à-vis healthcare providers, distribution channels Hospital and Bidan, and consumer needs.
- Design and implement effective consumer and trade promotions. Sales promotion objectives should be specific, measurable, clear, concise, practical and realistic, affordable and attainable.
- Contribute significantly to the New Product Development and brand extension process.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Medical Degree or other related health science or medical field.
- Previous experience (5 years+) in developing brand and marketing strategies in Pharma industry, especially in Hospital and Bidan channels
- Medical Detailing skills and knowledge
- Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge in contraceptive methods will be an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize and meet strict deadlines
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
