Job description for Tank Farm Technicians (New start up plant) at ManpowerGroup
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining workshop equipment including piplines, mobile storage tanks filter presses and filters, performing cleanliness verification, equipment release and issuance to support smooth project production
Tank Cleaning & Preparation: Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, including internal washing, residues removal, and preparing tanks for different products or for loading/unloading.
Operations Support: Assisting in blending, filling, and transferring chemical additives between bulk storage tanks, isotainers, and marine vessels.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conducting basic preventive and corrective maintenance on tank accessories, such as valves, gaskets, steam coils, and pressure gauges.
Safety & Compliance (HSE/WSH): Ensuring strict compliance with Work Safety and Health (WSH) standards, conducting risk assessments (RA), and managing emergency responses.
Quality Inspection: Conducting tank inspection to check for leaks, damage, or contamination to meet client and regulatory standards.
Documentation: Recording inventory data, updating daily checklists, and logging tank activities.
Nitec/Higher Nitec in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Technical field)
Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOP), 5S/6S, and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
