About Us
We are a well-established local food distribution SME with a lean, dynamic team. We serve a diverse range of customers including Modern trade KAs, Prime mart, institutions, airlines, and the Restaurant sector. We are looking for a Sales Manager to work side-by-side with our Business Manager as a unified leadership team.
The Role
You will partner directly with the Business Manager to co-drive the company's sales strategy, revenue growth, and key account management. Together, you will share accountability for results, align on priorities, and support each other's decisions. You will also work closely with Warehouse, Operations, and Marketing teams in a flat, action-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning – Develop and execute the annual sales strategy to meet revenue and gross profit targets for assigned customers (Modern trade KA, Prime mart, Institution, Airlines, Restaurants, and others).
Restaurant Sector Focus – Implement strategic sales plans specifically to expand our noodle product footprint in the Restaurant sector.
Data-Driven Decisions – Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and capture opportunities.
Key Account Management – Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
Budget & Trade Spend – Prepare and manage the sales budget, including trade spending and promotional activities.
Negotiation – Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trading terms with customers within authorized limits.
Internal Collaboration – Work closely with Warehouse & Operations to ensure optimal order fulfilment, inventory availability, and delivery issue resolution.
Marketing & Purchasing – Liaise with Marketing/Purchasing on product launches, promotions, and supplier-led initiatives.
Market Feedback – Provide market feedback to Management and suppliers to guide product assortment and procurement decisions.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in a similar role (food distribution, FMCG, or food service environment preferred).
Proven track record in managing Modern trade KAs, Prime mart, institutions, airlines, and/or restaurant chains.
Strong negotiation, budgeting, and data analysis skills.
Self-starter who thrives in an SME environment – comfortable with both strategy and hands-on execution.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Familiarity with noodle products or dry food distribution is a plus.
